Cyber Monday Deals

I can't wrap my head around all the deals this weekend, but as far as what I think might be of interest to this audience, here's a short list.

Adobe Lightroom V5. (expires in a few hours).
Great Deal especially if you're working with RAW images (or even CinemaDNG files).
Adobe Lightroom V5 $121.00 Now just $72 dollars (found here).

Rokinon Lens Deals.
They seem to be promoting these quite a bit today (and selling quite a few).
Rokinon 14mm F2.8 Ultra Wide Lens - Choice in Mount $279 (found here)
Rokinon 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye (Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Sony) $199 (found here)

Panasonic GH3 Save $300 OFF
Probably the most full featured MFT Video & Photo Camera. It rocks.
Panasonic GH3 Camera -$300 OFF Cyber Monday (found here)

Sigma Macro Lens - ALL MOUNTS -$300 OFF
Portraits or up close details. Great for Wedding & Event Coverage.
Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG OS Macro Lens -$300 OFF - Cyber Monday (found here)

Canon Powershot S110 -$100 OFF
Nothing beats a solid pocketable camera. If you can't afford the $750 Sony RX100, the Canon S110 for just $219 (today) is my next suggestion.
Canon Powershot S110 - Cyber Monday (found here)

Seagate 3TB Drive + THUNDERBOLT Dock
These are so awesome, I own three. If you're working with SSD Sata drives (BlackMagic Cinema Cameras), you can dock directly to this and start editing. Once you work with Thunderbolt Speeds, it's hard to go back to USB. Sucks for me - I paid over $400+ each. Today, you can get it for just $199.
Seagate Backup Plus 3 TB Drive + Thunderbolt Dock Desktop External Hard Drive (found here)

Sandisk Extreme PRO SDHC / SDXC 32GB - 64GB
A must have for the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera to shoot RAW. 64GB will give you about 20 minutes of RAW on the BMPCC, time to stock up. They are now up to 30% cheaper than when I purchased them.
Sandisk EXTREME PRO SDHC / SDXC Up to 30% OFF (found here)

Canon 70-200mm F/2.8L IS II
Newest version. Originally $2499, now down to $2K. But wait, could this also qualify for the current Mail-In-Rebate for an additional $300 OFF bringing it down to just $1700?
Lens Listing: Canon 70-200mm F/2.8L IS II - Checkout Price $2K (found here).
Mail-In-Rebate: Additional $300 OFF (found here)

[Keep checking back as i'll be updating through the day].

I'm seeing rebates as much as $125 off retail price. Rebates include discounts on Manfrotto's latest Video Fluid Head with Bridging Technology - the MVH500AH Video Fluid Head, and also on their very popular 561BHDV Video Monopod (which BTW includes another $50 dollar gift card).

A few days left for these rebate offers, so make sure to check it out over at B&H (found Here).

Canon-7d

I purchased a Refurbished Canon DSLR a little while back, and was very happy with the overall experience. Thanks to a tip from Scott, i'm not sure how long this was going on, but Canon's got 15% off Refurbished DSLRs. 5D Mark II sold out, Canon 1D Mark IV sold out, but a Canon 7D can be had for $1155.00. There's a few 60D and Canon T2i kits on the site, but don't forget this even applies to Lenses and Flashes. A Canon 580 EX II for $339? A Canon 24-105mm F/4L IS for just over $780? There's a sweet 17-55mm IS I know some of you have been looking into. You can check out DSLRs here: https://shop.usa.canon.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/subCategory_10051_10051_-1_29252#

And you can find Lenses and Flashes here: https://shop.usa.canon.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/subCategory_10051_10051_-1_22751#

Earlier I posted some big savings that SanDisk was offering of it's Compact Flash media and SDHC cards. You can find that article here: http://cheesycam.com/sandisk-media-huge-deals/. Lexar is now offering a Buy Two and save type deal on many of their media cards, so if Transcend wasn't good enough, Sandisk doesn't meet your needs, then Lexar might be up your alley. Found below.

canon-5d-mark-ii

Available again is a couple of refurbished Canon 5D Mark II & Canon 7D DSLRs over at the Canon direct store. There's also 60Ds and T2i cameras as well. Last time I ordered a refurbished 5D Mark II, Canon had a really nice discount going on. I received mine looking brand spanking new and it's heavily in rotation with the rest of the equipment. A refurbished camera is 'never' a camera that has been repaired.

These refurbished cameras might come back from stores with excess inventory or returned for other reason, but never because they had previous issues. These refurbished cameras are also run through the same testing to make sure everything is in 'as new' condition. The one I received had 0 shutter actuations, and no signs of use. Besides Camera bodies, there's also lenses and other sorts. Check out the stuff over at Canon's site: https://shop.usa.canon.com/webapp/wcs/stores/

Canon Red T3 Bodies

In other news, Canon has discounted some Exclusive colored T3 bodies in Red, Metallic Grey, and Brown. I think this is the first time Canon's offered such colors in any of their DSLRs. If you're not planning on doing any video, the T3 would be a good camera for just plain photography. You can find these exclusive colored bodies following the link: https://shop.usa.canon.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/subCategory_10051_10051_-1_41771

Canon 50mm F/1.4 1.4

Just a reminder about those 'Instant' Canon rebates going on right now. One of the hottest lenses for first time DSLR users is the Canon 50mm. Instead of opting in for the $99.00 dollar version, I highly suggest you dive into the Canon 50mm F/1.4 that has a better build, better Aperture, and better focus ring. Instant Rebate savings end about a month from now, but you can check out a list of Rebates all together on this page over at BHPHOTOVIDEO.com

If you're an eBayer, you can grab them for under $300 dollars, which can save you more than $50.00. Follow the Link.

sandisk-extreme-cf-32gb

You're pretty much required to grab a Class 6 SDHC card for the 550D / T2i. For an awesome name brand you're paying around $130, and that's an awesome deal for that huge 32gb storage. Compact flash cards on the other hand, if you wanted speeds of 60MBS, you'd be paying several hundreds. Although Canon says you're not required to use 400x cards to shoot video, they say it will help with RAW read / writes + dumping that data down will be faster than ever. Right now Sandisk is running some rebates if you've got the cash to buy a couple of cards, or you can grab those same Rebate prices simply off eBay without having to mail anything in and waiting.
