Click Elite backpack standClick Elite Clip Stand

Did you know some at some places it's prohibited to use a tripod? At the same time, those places 'will allow' use of a Monopod. I wonder if the same rules apply to a Click Elite backpack with built in Camera Stand? Click Elite, best known for their camera back packs with built in camera stands are on sale at a whopping 50% off for a limited time on select models. Personally for small bags, I prefer my LowePro setup. Anything heavier, and i'm into a roller bag. But if you've been eyeballing some of the Click Elite multifunctional bags and backpacks, but were less than flattered by their high prices, this could be a small window of opportunity following this link (click here).

Steadicam Glidecam

Droppin' dollars into Glidecam gear is quite an investment if you're not familiar with how one works. In fact, you might even find that 'flying' a camera is not something you're quite into. If you already own one, maybe your thinking about testing out the arm brace or Vest system? Don't forget that you can save a ton of cash when you rent gear, and the lineup of products available is growing over at Borrow Lenses. One piece of advise is to rent something as early as you can and get some practice in. You don't want to be figuring out how things work 'the day of'. If you're satisfied with the tools, it gives you a better idea on what to invest in.

The BL company takes your order and ships it 'NetFlix' style along with very simple return instructions when you're done. From RedRock shoulder rigs, to LED Ring lights, to Phillip Bloom's Pocket Dolly, and Glidecam vest systems. There's much to check out at the ever growing site (click here).

Who is Gale Tattersall? He's the DP that made big time news shooting a season finale for popular television show 'House' with the Canon 5D Mark II. Find out more about Gale here: https://www.galetattersall.com/.

If you want to get some great tips on how to get the best quality out of these DSLRs, he's the man who can tell you everything you need to know. This is a very late posting, but tomorrow morning (July 10th) about 10:00am Pacific time, you can enroll in his free online HDSLR workshop. Find more information about it here: https://www.creativelive.com/courses/hddslr-filmmaking-gale-tattersall. I'm definitely interested in sitting in on this one. [Thanks for the tip Alex]

Thanks to a tip from Mark, today's Daily Deal in the Electronics category is a Canon T3 bundle that includes (2) lenses, Camera carrying case, and basic cleaning kit. Not the greatest deal if you don't need or want the extras. This is the Canon T3 (not to be confused with T3i) which has a few limitations in the Video area, but is great for budding photographers who want to start in Canon's DSLR line. Definitely check out the site, scroll down a bit and see hundreds of other deals from different categories below. [Thanks Mark]

Amazing deals on Sandisk media that's hard to resist. In fact, the price break brings the super high speed, undoubtably reliable Sandisk media smack down in Transcend price territory. We're talking about 400x on CF and Class 10 on SDHC media. Sandisk media is often counterfeited, so watch out for things that look too good to be true. Over at B&H you'll know you've got the real deal and warranty to back it up.

It might not be incredibly obvious but all you need to do is add at least (2) two of these items into your shopping cart to qualify for the discount. Available in select Compact Flash and SDHC media. Your chance to stock up while it lasts. A very rare deal indeed..

visit-button Amazon Trade-In Program (Beta)

Amazon.com has opened up a beta program for Trade-In's. There's anything from books, to DVDs, to electronics. Just for kicks I threw in one of my cameras in the search, and the 'up to' trade in value looks pretty good for such an old camera. Hopefully this program makes it out of Beta stage and becomes a permanent part of the business, since I tend to shop a lot on Amazon and am always looking for a way to unload some unused gear. It's pretty fun and interesting to see what your old gear could be worth, and you can Check it out here: Amazon Trade-In Values
