Some people may have received this notification via email regarding certain Transcend Class 10 SDHC media cards. I guess somewhere down the line, Transcend made a few changes. All of the cards I've purchased don't fall into this category. I cannot verify this on my own personal media, but it could be something you want to check out for yourself.
We have recently learned that Transcend Information is voluntarily recalling the Transcend 16 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS16GSDHC10E.
Items impacted by this recall were sold between July 28 and August 15, 2011. Due to a manufacture process issue, the item subjected to this recall might cause read/write blocking if the file size is over 4GB and the information on the card may not transfer.
The SDHC cards impacted have a serial number between 446136 0001 to 446136 9999 and 446121 0001 to 446121 9999. In order to identify the serial number of your card, please refer to the number in green on the right side of the back of the card.
If your product is affected, you should contact the manufacturer, Transcend Information, for a replacement. If you would like to apply for an online return request, please follow the instruction at the following link to complete the replacement process: https://www.transcendusa.com/support/rma_en/

If you purchased this item as a gift for someone, please notify the recipient immediately and provide them with the information in the above bulletin concerning these issues.
With all the new cameras making SDHC media the standard you'd think prices would hold. Or would it be the new SDXC format pushing SDHC prices down? Check out the Transcend 32GB SDHC Class 10 media cards dropping down a few more dollars.

If you cruise on down to the article post http://cheesycam.com/sandisk-extreme-rebates/, you'll catch some comments about the Transcend 32GB 400x Compact flash cards. After a wedding this past weekend shooting three cameras, I realized I needed a bit more space. I was originally going to order the Sandisk Extremes since there was an ongoing Mail In Rebate, but the prices on these Transcends were much better (without Mail In Rebate).
It took a bit of convincing through the comments section, but you guys have me convinced to work with these. I also checked out reviews over at BHPHOTOVIDEO.com and it's almost a full 5 star rating. We price matched against NewEgg, Amazon, and it turns out that BHPHOTOVIDEO.com came out with the cheapest price for these Transcend 32GB 400x Compact Flash cards. My order is in with Next Day Air, i'll test it this weekend to see how they perform. Really though, I feel quite confident after all the comments and reviews i've been reading and recieving.

Ebay reports this is one of the top sellers for the Camera category as of today. This eBay seller with over 48,000 feedbacks and 100% user feedback on sales. This 32 GB SDHC card 'Class 6' (yes Class 6), perfect for the T2i or 550D seems to be too good to be true for just $85 bucks. But as an eBay seller with that track record, it might be worth a buy for those long gigs that go on for hours and hours and hours.....
