Alzo's latest DSLR accessory cage is a pretty straight forward simple and clean design with two side handles and an 'optional' third top handle. (hmm looks familiar). Excellent brackets for moving your camera around while having all of the important accessories mounted. There's clearance cut out on the lower plate for battery access and several mounting points on the top bracket along with a couple of hot shoes. Pricing is good compared to the other cages on the market, but there's only a few more available following the link (Click Here
).
Optional top bracket can be found below:

Post author@Marshall Baker - That might be possible for a 7D or 5D Mark II. The hot shoe is supported by the magnesium frame. For other cameras with plastic bodies, that might not be a good idea. You could probably fit one of these httpss://cheesycam.com/dslr-diy-top-handle/

Any way to just get the handle by itself to mount to my shoe mount? I'd love just a simple top handle for my camera without all the extra stuff

I finally tried Rig-X plus cowboy rig at the street.
And I've got a problem - I can't use L-bracket to mount Zoom+Rode Mic, because camera that way sitting to high and lens can't reach follow focus.
So what is the best way to mount Zoom, Mic, and maybe light to that configuration?

Alzo cage cost $133, your DIY cage cost me about 30 and all I have to do is spend 15 minutes tomorrow putting it together. Ya I think I'll stick to the DIY route.

Emm,
Yep look just like yours... mhm maybe you should have mass produced and sell 😛
For the price though, I say not bad, keeping in mind they have to make a profit also.
