Free time to brush up on my #Drone Pilot Skills, this time with new @avegant #glyph Headset for #FPV Flying. (Thanks to @iamretep for the #Glyph!!) The Glyph is a perfect headset as it doesn't completely block your eyesight. You can still see under and over the Glyph making it perfect to view your drone in the sky and your remote in your hands. The #Glyph doesn't have a screen so you don't see pixels. Instead it uses mirrors to bounce light into your eyes. Sharp enough to connect to a computer screen and read text. It doesn't matter how bright it is outdoors, you'll always be able to get clear bright images with the @avegant Glyph.. #FPV #Drones #DJI #Inspire1 #POV #DroneGear #DroneLife #DronePorn

Nice new Avegant Glyph headset that doesn't actually cover your eyes completely. You can still see above and below the screen making it easy to keep spotting your Drone.

Other FPV systems completely cover your eyes. The Glyph also has head tracking sensors which can be used to control the gimbal on the Drone. It's an HDMI input, and the Inspire1 remote has an HDMI out on the remote. If you're using something like the DJI Phantom 4 quadcopter, you'll need the DJI Phantom 3/4 HDMI Output Adapter (found here).
