To date there are still only a couple of single handed pistol grip styled 3 Axis Gimbal Stabilizers designed to support cameras like the Panasonic GH4, Sony A7s, or even Canon T4i. The first ever and possibly still most popular one available is the Nebula 4000 from Filmpower. Here's a quick interview from the Camera Motion Research booth during our NAB 2015 coverage.
Although the Filmpower Nebula 4000 Gimbal can be found around the world, USA residents should visit Camera Motion Research. They may be the only USA reseller of the Nebula 4000 gimbal. You'll benefit from their fast shipping, quality customer support, and domestic shipping if you ever have to deal with warranty issues. Even if you have just basic questions about the Nebula 4000, you can contact Camera Motion Research over at their website https://camotionllc.com (found here).

B&H carries these now. Feel much better about dealing with B&H.
Nebula looks cool. Might be worth dropping some coin down. It would be perfect for travel videos.

Have had my Nebula 4000 for less than a couple months, and it's batteries died when out and it's had issues turning on ever since, when it does turn on it will stay on for 20-30 seconds.
Even worse, it's been a couple weeks now and Filmpower hasn't responded to my warranty requests.
Their warranty isn't exactly svelte either, there's a flowchart on their website https://filmpower.us/p/service
which requires filming the problem before sending it in.

Cristobal/Nelson, At NAB we had the Shogun mounted to the rear of the Nebula handle with a simple bracket, and an aerialpixels ribbon cable to connect. httpss://www.facebook.com/CameraMotionResearch/photos/pb.243183592427005.-2207520000.1430434470./818702721541753/?type=1&theater

Way too expensive and restrictive. Sony A7s weights about 1.1 pounds, you put a Rokinon 35mm lens on there with adapter and you're close to 3pounds making this stabilizer unusable......
They at least need up to 5 pound camera support then we're talking.....
Cristobal
Hi! its possible to use this gimbal with an sony a7s and the atomo shogun?
Dmitri
I love my Nebula! Works great and learning curve was no more then few hours.

I remember seeing Dave doing a review of this stabiliser model (the earlier version) sometimes ago and it seems to be very hard to tune/ stabilise. I believe changing cameras on this unit is also going to be a hassle.
Do you have any review on this @Emm that I might have miss?

Really really love the idea. If it went down to about $500 USD, I would consider it.
