    Thx for the heads-up on B&H yesterday, I nabbed one plus a couple lenses. Have been working on a 4K GH4 edit with a friend, the on-screen look is totally jaw dropping! Getting a lot of visitors today which is definitely slowing progress, but it's worthwhile just to see the Red and Alexa guys squinting at the screens. Whooda thunk pro-grade cameras would someday cost less than the consumer TV's used to view the output!

    @A. David Shaw - Wow, there have been so many new cameras after the T2i without any issues of overheating it's hard to remember when I last ran into that problem. If you can't afford the GH4 and you want to look more into M43 cameras, i'm sure you will find plenty of GH3 cameras jumping on eBay soon.

    I've used a Canon T2i for a few years now and have reached my limit with it. I had a project needing a longer record time than the T2i can provide. I want to upgrade to something like the GH4 though it is a but out of my price range. Do you know if it has the same overheating and time limits as the T2i? Thanks for all your help.

    @Ivan Bercholz - The Atomos H2S didn't work very well for me. Something is weird about the signal. Go wuyh the GH4 if possible.

    @Emm That is great news. I just rented one from lensrentals.com for a multicam shoot next week. I was going to use an Atomos H2S for pulldown removal, but much prefer this. Thanks!

    @TikTak - There are so many new amazing features in the GH4, i'm getting distracted and don't have time for everything. The color profiles are much more customizable compared to the GH3. You can really tweak not just color profiles, contrast, but tweak highlight and shadows, and dynamic range. So much to play with to customize the look you're going for.

    Wow, nice to see it is shipping, Waiting here impaitently for the pre ordered delivery from Vistek, Toronto. They say Apr 30th.

    i Think this camera will start 4K revolution like what 5d Mark II did for HD video.

    @Ivan Bercholz - YES!!! I have a switch and the GH3 was a pain. Finally they fixed this and the hdmi matches the framerate!

    Hi Emm, do these have clean hdmi 24p out, so they'll play nice with switchers? Unlike that nonsense with the gh2/3?

    @Johnny - The great thing is that you can adapt almost any lens to M43 cameras, but the most general lenses I use are the 12-35mm F/2.8 with OIS and 35-100mm F/2.8 OIS.

    If anyone gets a GH3 or GH4 camera, I highly suggest these lenses. You'll use them for a variety of situations, and in video mode you can also use the TELE mode (punch in closer) on these lenses without sacrificing 1080p resolution.

    GH cameras have never been and in no time soon will ever be low light high ISO cameras. If that's what people want then 5DMark III is your answer.

    GH4 like GH3 have other strengths such as detail, resolution, and all around hybrid camera for event work, films, etc. Go read the specs and you will know.

    I'm really looking forward to comparisons between GH4 vs 5D3 low light and GH4 vs 5D3 ML raw. And definitely footage with 10bit 422 via external recorder.

    Very tempting to hit the buy button soon. Would love to see a low light comparison with the 5D MKIII and know if "The It" camera of the moment has any hidden gotchas...
