Here's a little overview of the new DJI OSMO MOBILE Gimbal (for smartphones) as well as a test using the Moondog Labs Anamorphic Lens on an iPhone 6s. Since the arm on the Roll motor can be extended on the OSMO Mobile, this balances quite well without the need of any additional counterweights. It's just a tad top heavy but the OSMO's strong motors handles the load with ease.
Using the FilmicPro app to shoot video instead of the DJI Go App allowed me to configure the iPhone for real time Anamorphic DeSqueeze preview and also choose various resolutions and bitrates. FilmicPro has also been updated to support the OSMO Mobile so you can hit the record button on the joystick to start and stop video, and use the Capture button (normally for stills) to lock focus and exposure.
While many choices have already existed for gimbals that support iPhones, the new DJI OSMO Mobile already works pretty darn well with the heavy weight of the Moondog Labs Anamorphic Lens. Find it here (link).

Any thoughts on Osmo Mobile vs Zhiyun Smooth II? They seem pretty similar from the specs. Wondering if there is a difference in overall stability.

Would you please try balancing an iphone slightly offset in the cradle to allow access to the microphone jack? I'm wondering if I can use an external mic with a right angle connector. That would be so helpful, I know I'm not the only one wondering this.

Post author@Grant inouye - There is a massive weight difference between the iPhone 6s and '6s Plus'. Sorry I don't carry those phablet phones. They might need a larger gimbal made for mirrorless cameras.

Some youtube reviewers are reporting weird shaking issues with 6s pluses and are citing the motors are too weak. It's to the point that some are saying the footage is unusable for anything. But if you're able to use it with that anamorphic lens, then the motors being too weak doesn't seem likely.
But they are also claiming it's not the optical image stabilization of the 6s plus either. I'm curious, have you seen any weird shaking issues? Your video looks great, clean and shake free though so I'm guessing not.
