Carry Speed MagFilter System - Polarizer
Anyone know if the 36mm version will fit the Sony HX90V?
@Vlad - Here you go: https://www.photographyandcinema.com/collections/magfilter-products
I just saw the youtube presentation (httpss://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FejSR_k37Gc) but I can't seem to find anywhere on the website the 2-ring polarizer. Can anyone lend a hand?
@Debi Veranth - I can't be sure without measuring the camera's front lens area, but it looks like you could be fine with the 55mm Adapter https://www.photographyandcinema.com/products/magfilter-threaded-adapter-ring. You would need to purchase your own filter separately.
I would like to add a polarizing filter to my panasonic zs30. What ring should I get?
Hi, i want to buy the 42mm version but it´s a sold out. When it come to the shop again ?
Over at dpreview.com there are some unhappy campers after having received their Carry Speed MagFilter. One guy said it is "junk & false advertising" (that it has a poor quality, not multi-coated filter, for example).
I am hoping that the manufacturer will respond. I have one on its way, and I hope the original poster in that thread is mistaken....
Since this is a DIY site, one thing I think you can do for the RX100 that should work fine is buy a 37-52mm step up ring, dremel off the 37mm threads, and use some strong double stick tape. You will have a 52mm filter ring for about $4. I saw the same thing pre-cut on German ebay for $25, so it should work. A 52mm diameter should allow a couple filters without vignetting on the RX100 I would think.
@Jay - Two different sizes, two different prices, choose the correct one.
Why is the price $24.99 on one page and $26.99 on the ordering page?
ordered... I hope you get a cut of the $$$
@Jay - Yup, I believe ND Filters will come next, and depending on feedback - more sizes to fit more cameras.
Ordered one right away.
More filters are coming, right?
I don't care about a polarizer. I need an ND grad. When will you be coming out with that?
Looks like I will need to get the double stick tape out.
It would be cooler if you would make a 49mm magnetized filter holder. That way we can use our existing NEX ND filters on the rx100. Now that would be cool!
